so i started school monday, took the test and got my permit today. i knew i would have trouble with the vision test so i went earlier in the week and bought glasses(#### they are high, i had no idea!) so my doc says i have 20/20 in one eye and 20/50 in the other WITHOUT glasses and 20/30 WITH GLASSES. I know the minimum is 20/40. when i looked into the vision test i could barely read the last line WITH MY GLASSES ON! My question is..what happens if you cant read 20/40 with corrective lenses? my guess is you just cant drive anymore. is there anything you can do to keep your liscense..waivers etc? i know you have to renew your liscense every two years so im worried that in a couple of years i may not be able to pass it. i have almost perfect vision in one eye and i see really well. anyone else out there have to deal with something like this. ive already searched the forums and cant find anything on this scenario. lots of questions about what is the minimum but not this. any help would be appreciated, thanks!
