I worked on my transition last night based on feedback from @mvmac and will incorporate his latest comments and drills from the video about not separating the lower and upper body when shifting weight/pressure forward. This may be part of my issue as I was trying to do this to help change my hand path on the downswing. Range session last night was positive, I could feel the transition and the weight/pressure 'fall forward', but struggled a little with consistency when I tried to force it. When I don't feel like I am forcing it I have great results with my irons, and okay-good results with my woods/driver as it feels a little steep, but overall I think it's the right direction. Just need to figure out how to code my brain to remember when it's right and how to repeat it.

I appreciate a lot of the responses but “far, far, away from reality”? If you see my latest post, if I play with a solid plan, there still are birdie opportunities.

Tried this again last night. I failed. If you want to see the first video of me failing, it's in the spoiler below. I actually hit a perfect one with my second shot with the strong grip. If you watch, make sure you see my hilarious attempts with my weak grip. This one was an attempt at the end of my range session, trying to get the feel for what I need to do better. The strong one was good contact, but it was about a 20 yard hook. The weak one was just high, straight, and short. Better contact though. Now that I'm doing this correctly, it's pretty tough for me. The feels are completely exaggerated to get it even close. I think I could do it .. if I devoted an entire range session to it. Not going to happen, though. Verdict for me: Failed the challenge. Strong grip was better than the weak grip. May not have been a great idea to try this, because now I'm thinking I should weaken my grip in my normal swing to get the ball started further to the right ..

Thanks, your points and the video may be the things I'm struggling with.

Birdie mentality for a mid handicapper??? your spectations are far far away from reality. Moreover if your average on those holes is double. You need to adjust your strategy according to your current ability, and be more realistic about your scoring spectations. As your caddie i would suggest to play for an easy bogey. Sometimes you will get lucky and make some pars. Triple or birdie should be out of your mind.

Head rotates and club head is trying to catch up and is pulling across my body on a straight left direction. Spent an hour with a wedge last night and every shot (30 yards) pulled up to 3 yards. Is A Car Making A Left Turn Always Found Liable In A Resulting Car Accident Tweet As a general premise, a vehicle that makes a left turn is nearly always found responsible for causing an auto accident with a vehicle approaching from the other direction and traveling in a straight path.
